Wire rope sling is one of the main and widely used components among lifting accessories.
There are different forms of wire rope slings with steel or fiber cores.
The minimum and maximum temperature tolerances in slings of wire ropes made of steel and fiber core are different. It is clear that the steel core can withstand the maximum temperature and also these slings have a longer useful life than other nylon slings and so on.
All steel wire rope slings are tested under more pressure after being made in factories.

Pressed wire rope sling

Wire rope slings are produced using a number of wire rope rigging including thimbles that are used directly in order to produce the wire sling or the furrels or bushes that penetrate the weaving of the wire rope strands after pressing. some other wire rope rigging such as hooks and shackles are also used for this purpose. pressing wire rope slings is only one of the available and fast ways of fashioning slings but not the only way. in most cases wire rope slings are produced using metal core wire ropes of 6 strands.

Single leg wire rope sling

Single leg wire rope sling is a very common type of lifting tool that is used most often along with electric wire rope hoists, winches and balancers. there are many different ways to produce wire rope slings, weaving, pressing along with thimbles and bushed and also using wire rope sockets are the most common ways. in most cases steel wire rope with IWRC metal core is used for shaping single leg wire rope sling. 6X36, 6X37 are two of the common structures of wire rope used in slings.
