Hoist chain

Chain overhead cranes use two chain chains in their connections. The hand chain of the crane is made of galvanized iron and the load chain of the crane is made of dry steel. While the manual chain of the overhead crane is moved by hand, the load chain of the crane is connected to the load and is subjected to high tensile stress. Different sizes of crane chains are used according to the tonnage and weight capacity of the overhead crane, which is often used on 1 ton cranes with 8 mm chain and as the tonnage of the crane increases, the size of the crane chain also increases. Of course, in high-tonnage overhead cranes, a chain is no longer used, and therefore, in most applications, the maximum size of the crane chain is 12 mm.

G80 hoist chain

G80 carbon steel chain is actually an alloy of steel chain. The dry chain uses at least 98% iron element with an average percentage of carbon in its alloy composition. Before the production of G80 dry chain, the used wires are hardened by forging method to have high mechanical characteristics and ideal resistance against tensile and abrasion stresses.
Dry chains are produced both in millimeter sizes according to the German DIN standard and in inch sizes according to the American ASTM standard. G80 dry chain has a tensile strength of 550 newtons per square millimeter N/mm2, which means that it can suspend 55 kg of load per square millimeter of the cross-sectional area at the complete tear stage.

3ton hoist chain

The ceiling crane chain starts from 8 mm size, which is used for both electric and manual chain ceiling cranes, and it is used in higher lifting capacities in higher sizes. On all types of overhead cranes, crane chains in dry grade G80 and higher grades, i.e. grades G100, G120, can be used, while considering the appropriate tensile strength and tensile strength, G80 grade is often used.
3 ton overhead crane chain is used in 10 mm size, which is produced from steel alloy compounds with a high percentage of carbon. The production of this crane chain is done by thermal bending for each bead, which after bending and forming the beads is welded at one point through an electric arc.

3-phase electric cranes are produced in both chain and wire rope models, which are recommended for lifting loads from 1 to 10 tons. The 3-phase electric crane chain is a dry steel chain that has high tensile strength and is connected to the crane hook at the bottom. Electric crane chain is used in G80 grade and it is often black in surface alum treatment. 3-phase electric crane chains are used in different sizes that depend on the weight capacity of the crane, and most of them have the smallest size of 8 mm. The chain length of the overhead crane often varies between 3.5 meters and 6 meters, and in most cases, the maximum lifting height of electric chain cranes is 6 meters.

KITO hoist chain

Kito overhead crane hoist in chain type is one of the most ideal workshop lifting tools. Kito chain overhead crane is also produced in manual type, but it has a wider use in three-phase electric type. Kito electric hoist chain is actually a crane load chain that is used in dry steel grade. The length of Kito crane chain is usually 3.5 to 6 meters and its minimum size is 8 mm. KITO ceiling hoist chain is seen in matte black color, which is actually treated with alum or surface phosphate to increase the surface resistance against rust and wear resistance. Japan Kito manual crane chain is used in two grades, one iron grade manually and the other steel grade with a load hook.

CROSBY G120 hoist chain

Crane chain with G120 grade is actually the highest grade of steel in the production of this type of chain in connecting the load with the sling and crane. The highest percentage of carbon is used in the alloy steel of G120 crane chain, which leads to higher mechanical capabilities of this chain. A series of thermal hardening operations in the form of multi-stage cooling and heating are used in order to increase the two quality factors of G120 grade steel crane chain, which finally reaches a tensile strength of over 900 newtons/mm2 N/mm2 and produces a very high wear hardness compared to G80 dry steel crane chain.

G100 hoist chain

The crane chain with G100 grade has a higher carbon percentage than the general G80 grade and has a higher surface hardness and tensile strength. The thermal hardening steps of G100 crane chain are more complex and precise than the G80 grade, and as a result, it leads to an increase in the tensile capabilities under load and wear resistance of this grade of crane chain. In terms of hammerability, it should be said that the presence of a higher percentage of carbon in the alloy compounds of the G100 grade crane chain has caused it to become more brittle, especially in super-cold temperature conditions.

10mm hoist chain

The connecting chain on the overhead crane is selected from high grades of steel to have a suitable tensile strength. In most cases, the G80 steel alloy has the highest usage rate in the joints of overhead cranes, which is used in the size of 8 mm and above. 10 mm steel crane chains are often used on overhead cranes with a capacity of more than 2 tons. This dark black chain is used as surface phosphated to have better environmental resistance against rust. Crane steel chain with G80 grade is produced by hot forging method, and after bending each of the chain beads, it is welded to close the seam.
