Cotton fiber rope
Cotton fiber rope is a completely natural rope that is usually woven in 3 strands and is available in various diameters usually up to 60 mm. cotton fiber core has lower tensile strength compared to synthetic Polyethylene or polyester ropes. another disadvantage of cotton ropes is that they absorb once soaked in the water which leads to becoming heavier and also submerge in the water that limits their application in marine crafts.
