This classification of wire ropes is widely used in many industries. 6x19 tow wire is made with a relatively large number of steel wires in each strand. The ropes of this class are less flexible than the 6x37 structure in each strand due to the number of wires less than the 6x37 structure, but due to the thicker wires, their resistance to wear is higher than the 37x6 class ropes.

What is the tensile strength of 6*19 wire ropes?
Considering the use of 19*6 tow wire structure in lifting and heavy industrial applications, tensile which directly deals with the tensile strength of the tow wire is very important. Of course, the tensile of the tow wire has not changed with the size change and is more of a concept of tension. In most cases, the wires used in the production of this structure are produced from tow wire with a suitable percentage of carbon and heat-hardened, and therefore have a minimum tensile strength of 1770 N/mm2. For heavier applications, steel towing wire of 6*19 structure with tensile strength of 1960 N/mm2 is also used. However, it should be noted that the increase in the tensile strength of the tow wires also causes their wires to become more brittle.
