High carbon lifting chains are usually available as G80 grade. these lifting chains are usued more often for lifting purpose as chain sling and along with a number of other rigging. Master links and hooks are the most common types of rigging used along with high carbon lifting chains. in order to increase the corrosion resistance of high carbon chain against humidity it is usually galvanized using Zinc baths.
