Tifor is a kind of mechanical instrument that is used with similar application as manual winches. tifors are usually available up to 6 ton and are suitable for pulling objects on slopes. most tifors work with wire rope and need a steady surface to connect to with a hook. on the other side tifor is connected to the load to be pulled and by using the manual handle in each strike the length of the connecting wire rope is shortened. tifors usually have a handle of about 70 cm to 1 meter and have a wire rope sling of 20 to 30 m long.
